West Misumi port is an old port made at the Meiji era. The building of the Meiji era remains, and there are a lot of sportfishermans. Recently, an additional publishing was done as one of the modernization industry inheritance groups in Kyushu and Yamaguchi by World Heritage tentative list.
Many of European-style buildings are used as a coffee shop and a restaurant.
